BR Mark 1 TSO 4862 is in long term restoration inside the main shed and has been reported frequently in our magazine, recently the Society started a process of overhaul on our running fleet and TSO 4923 was the first to enter the blue line building a few months ago.
So it was pleasing to see Bryn post that 4923 is well on its way to reaching the stage of being released back into traffic. There has been a lot of work to deal with the structure and faults as well a a full repaint and lining. We hope to see it back running soon with the next coach moving into the shed for work.
